    If you have not yet ordered, no worries, place your order by March 1. 2024 to ensure receiving at the delivery March 27, 2024 between 10:30 and 1:30 PM. Jostens will have their delivery trailer parked outside the Front Office by the big tree.

    Class of 2028 Planning For Success Night (YMS/RMS Current 8th Grade Students and Parents))

    Wednesday, March 6, 2024 please join us in the YHS Commons to learn about how to get involved in high school sports/activities and clubs beginning at 5:15 PM  and then at 6:00 PM we will move to the Performing Arts Center for information about graduation requirements and registering for classes for next year.

    2023/2024 Student Drop Off Information

    All students need to be dropped off and picked up through Tornado Alley in the mornings and afternoons. Directions:  From Yelm Avenue turn on Tahoma Blvd. SE and go past Yelm Medical Plaza.  Turn into Tornado Alley and drop off/pick up students by the portables and exit out of Tornado Alley.  Do not use the main entrance for the safety of our student walkers and bicyclists, and to avoid interfering with our school buses.     YHS Student Parking Passes

    Students who are driving to campus must register their vehicle and pick up a parking permit to be displayed on their car rearview mirror. Students can register their vehicles with staff in room 103 and will receive a parking permit. Parking permits must be displayed at all times. Student parking is ONLY in the main parking lot.     Learn More About the April 23 Replacement Levy

    Yelm Community Schools is asking the community to continue funding of the expiring levy on the April Special Election. This replacement levy is not a new tax and will continue to fund important programs and services so all students, starting in Pre-K, are on a path to on-time graduation, continuing education and work.     School Delays and Closure Information

    We are now monitoring weather conditions daily and drive the roads early in the morning to check for safe travel. Our goal is to send messaging by 5:30am if school is delayed or closed; otherwise, school is on time. Please remember that roads and sidewalks may still be slippery even if we don't close.

    Countdown to Kindergarten

    We are excited to meet next year's Kindergarten students and families.  On March 6, we are hosting an open house from 5:00 - 6:30 p.m. at Yelm Middle School.   There will be lots of activities during the event you won't want to miss.
