YHS 2023 Summer School Information
Yelm High School is offering summer school sessions, free of cost, to help support students in their credit retrieval efforts. If your student has previously or is currently failing a core class please consider enrolling them in summer school. As there are a few weeks of school left, your student may earn credit. In total, 24 credits are required for graduation and the following core courses are a priority to be completed for graduation: Math, English, Science, or Social Studies.

Senior Prom 2023!
2023 Senior Prom is set for Longmire Farm on June 3rd. Ticket sales open on May 15 and are $25 each. Seniors may invite an underclassman or an outside guest. Guests must be at least 9th grade , but must be under 21 years old. All guests go through the guest pass process. Tickets are limited so purchase early!

Late Start Wednesday
Each Wednesday we are on a Late Start schedule. Tornado Time will typically be the 1st and 2nd Wednesday of each month. Check the calendar for more details. The bell schedule is also available by clicking our headline.

Earn your AA degree at Yelm High School!
Beginning in the fall of 2021, freshman at Yelm High School will have the opportunity to earn their Associate of Arts Degree entirely on the YHS campus. Students may now enjoy all the benefits of high school life, while completing a fully accredited college degree. Upon graduation, students who have earned their Associate of Arts Degree will transfer to 4-year colleges and universities in Washington with junior level status.
