elm Dollars for Scholars will hold their annual auction March 1-8, 2024 to directly support Yelm High School graduates pursuing further education and training in the form of scholarships. The program has raised and distributed $2.6M in scholarships over the last 28 years and the DFS team is eager to see you again in March. The live event is scheduled for 5 p.m. March 9 at the Lake Lawrence Lodge. This is a ticketed event with a provided dinner, and it is set to be a great night out with an incredible community. Yelm High School will be hosting 8th Grade Transition Night on Wednesday, March 6, 2024, at 6:00pm in the Performing Arts Center at YHS. This is an opportunity for your current 8th grade students to hear about their transition to 9th grade at Yelm High School. There will be information about graduation requirements, class registration for 9th grade, and an overview/welcome to YHS. We hope to see you there! Yelm High School’s Drama Club presents Seussical: The Musical this spring including two performances on Dr. Seuss’s birthday. There is an unbelievable amount of fun for all ages and families of all kinds. Merging the worlds of some of the most colorful stories, Seussical explores what happens when anything is possible. For families living outside of their school attendance area, it is time to renew your out of area request for the 2024-2025 school year. Requests must be received by March 15, 2023.
