This is a special event where your kindergartner will get a sneak preview of Prairie, learn how to prepare for kindergarten and meet their principal and the kindergarten teachers.

Prairie's third through fifth graders will be taking the SBA (Smarter Balanced Assessments), in math and English. Fifth grade will also be taking the Washington Comprehensive Assessment of Science. Testing begins for third through fifth graders on May 16.
Kindergarten registration is available online through Family Access. You may also pick up a registration packet in our Prairie office.
The Rotary Club of Yelm is in need of canned chili for Yelm's summer food bags. Canned chili may be dropped off at Prairie until May 31. Any help you can give is greatly appreciated.
The 3rd Annual STEMKAMP is Aug 7-11. Registration will open on May 15. More details are available on the STEMKAMP website.

Yelm Community Schools was honored to have such an amazing turnout for its first year back in action since the pandemic. With over 60 vendors, the community had access to exceptional information regarding all elements of health and wellness.
Yelm Community Schools will be holding a surplus sale on Saturday, June 24, at the transportation barn located at 202 Stevens Avenue NW, Yelm, WA from 9 a.m. - 12 p.m. The surplus consists of buses, miscellaneous curriculum, electronics, furniture, books, vehicles and file cabinets.
