School Board Approves Levy Resolution for February 2025
In order to meet the needs of our students, the board approved putting the Education Programs & Operating Replacement Levy on the February 11, 2025, ballot.
The ballot measure is referred to as an “Enrichment Levy” in legislation but still funds many basic education activities including but not limited to certificated classroom teachers, certificated specialists (art, PE, music, drama, library, technology), office support, para-educators, supervision, special education, nurses, counselors, social workers, school resource officers/safety staff, graduation/career readiness, technology, athletics, extracurricular activities, curriculum materials and staff training.
Levy Authorization Amount
The four-year levy is a "replacement" of a prior authorized levy in 2020. It requires a majority vote (50% + 1). Upon voter approval, the levy is authorized at $2.50 per $1000 of assessed property value at a growth rated of 3%. The maximum amount the district can collect each year is below.
