Educational Programs & Operations Levy (EP&O)
If approved, this two-year Educational Programs & Operations (EPO) Levy would provide local school funding for educational costs that are not covered by state or federal sources.
What would the proposed November 3, 2026 levy pay for?
This levy would maintain current student programs, services, activities, and athletics. Some examples include:
- High school Varsity / JV athletics and extracurricular activities
- Current class sizes and class offerings, AP courses, and electives;
- Safety-related facility and grounds maintenance; and
- Current staffing levels for health and safety such as nurses, health rooms, security, and school resource officers.
It would also provide a limited amount of additional local funding that would allow the school board to reinstate a selection of instructional programs and student activities consistent with the strategic plan goals.
To provide local school funding, the proposed levy would collect:
| Year | Total Collected | Estimated Tax Rate |
| 2027 | $11,194,449 | $1.50 per $1,000 of assessed value |
| 2028 | $12,278,073 | $1.50 per $1,000 of assessed value |
