Supporting Yelm Students
There are many ways to support students in Yelm. Activities and fundraising conducted by organizations in our community may or may not be affiliated or endorsed by the district. The following programs are district supported. If you would like to contribute by volunteering time or donating funds, please connect with the the district or the organization and review their website/social media to learn more.
District/School Volunteer
Want to help out at school by being in the classroom, chaperoning events, assisting around campus or mentoring?

Business Partners
Business Partner Program is a two-way collaboration that allows YCS and sponsors to host and share information about fun, educational beneficial family oriented programs and opportunities. Learn more about sponsorship levels.
Learners Without Limits
Learners Without Limits empowers low-income students to break through social and economic barriers by providing access to stable housing, clothing, nutrition, and hygiene essentials to ensure that every student ready to graduate. Yelm's Bounty for Families Non-Profit Organization serves as the fiscal sponsor. Upon request of the district, funds are distributed directly to students/families to meet needs that are not allowable expenses for the district or if funds are not available.
Day of Champions
Yelm hosts the annual Day of Champions for over 350 students with special needs. This event is fully funded by donations to support the activities, transportation, meals and supplies for all student participants and volunteers. Yelm's Bounty for Families non-profit organization serves as the fiscal sponsor and processes all purchases at the request of the Day of Champions committee made up of district representatives and the Special Education Parent Advisory Committee.
Parent Organizations
The district recognizes approved non-profit organizations that support our schools or approved ASB clubs. These groups maintain their non-profit status and provide proof of insurance to operate. All activities are coordinated with the school or club and follow the district facility use policies. Funds generated by these organizations are not part of the district budget. Any donations made by these organizations are submited to the School Board for approval ensure all board policy, state and federal lawas are followed.
Recognized parent organizations (ie. Alumni Organizations, Booster Clubs, PTAs, PTOs) are posted on each school website. Contact the individual organization if you are interested in volunteering.

We value their work and efforts; however, the district does not oversee or facilitate their activities unless clearly promoted as a district sponsored activity or event. The use of district logos by outside organizations is not permitted.
