The majority of all safety projects will be complete by September 2021.  Yelm Middle School staff will gain occupancy in August and begin school in the new building.  Southworth Elementary will be housed at the old Yelm Middle School campus for the 2021-22 school year while the new building is under construction.  Work began in the spring with the water tower installation and then portables were moved to other elementary campuses or demolished if not usable. The building will be fully demolished in the summer of 2021 and new construction will begin.
