Program Overview

  • Yelm Community Schools is expanding its educational vision beyond the walls of K-12. Through a partnerships with South Puget Sound Community College, Yelm Timberland Library, and the South Sound YMCA, adults are earning their high school diplomas at Yelm Extension School.

    As part of the district's larger Graduate Yelm! initiative, YCS formed a strong regional partnerships to address a broader range is educational needs. The district's goal is to remove every conceivable barrier to educational attainment for Yelm citizens. Through High School +, students have access to Chromebooks; onsite YMCA childcare(except for Summer session); and printing, wifi, and electronic research tools through Yelm Timberland Library. SPSCC further provides career counseling, including financial information and access to certificate and degree programs. All services are free of charge to High School + students.

  • Step 3: BEGIN CLASS
    Where: Class begins online via Canvas Class on July 6 and ends August 24, 2020
    Fee: $35 per quarter, financial aid available
