MISSION STATEMENT
To create an equitable K-12 system where 100% of our students graduate on time, ready to enact their plan.
ABOUT OUR SCHOOL
Yelm High School is dedicated to the goal of 100% of our students graduating on time and ready to enact their post high school plan. We are a school of 1,560 students. Students are supported by all staff to reach individual goals. Our four pillars include; Culture, Systems, Leadership and Instruction. Within each pillar we provide the interventions necessary to create a path for success. Through each of our pillars, we have enacted the following:- A robust High School and Beyond Plan (HSBP), Freshman Academy, Tornado Time, AVID, and we offer College in the High School (CiHS) and courses through Core and Career and Technical Education (CTE) classes.
- Each of the interventions is intended to provide students with access to a variety of opportunities to meet their learning needs.
- Students have an opportunity to extend their learning by engaging in a variety of activities. We have the strongest FFA program in the State of Washington. Our clubs and ASB activities are inclusive and provide students from diverse backgrounds to get involved.
- Tornado athletics offer students the ability to showcase their talents during league and state competition.
We are proud of our commitment to Graduate Yelm! and the support we receive from our community. - A robust High School and Beyond Plan (HSBP), Freshman Academy, Tornado Time, AVID, and we offer College in the High School (CiHS) and courses through Core and Career and Technical Education (CTE) classes.
