We looked at the cost of ASB cards compared to those in other school districts surrounding ours. Our ASB cards are $75, which is the most expensive. If students are not involved in sports or activities that require having an ASB, they don't save enough on game tickets to make up for that $75. We also discussed giving discounts on dance tickets to cardholders to encourage more students to buy one.

| Other: We discussed that we don't offer all the sports that some of the other districts offer. So, students may not always have an interest in one of the sports that we do offer. We will also not have C teams next year, so this will discourage Freshmen and Sophomore C team students from buying an ASB card if they don't make a team. There is also no bus transportation, so some students may not be able to participate if they cannot get a ride or afford the gas to go to games that are far away. |

| Describe the action steps the school/district will take to reduce the opportunity gap in student possession of ASB cards and/or participation in extracurricular activities for the upcoming school year. |
| 1. We will offer discounts on dances and other after-school activities, with an ASB Card. |
| 2. We will communicate the benefits of having an ASB card on announcements, flyers around school, and the high school social media page. |
| 3. We will also transfer money to each sports' account to help with the cost of uniforms, equipment, etc... |
