Introduction

  • STEMKAMP is an exciting opportunity for students in 3rd through 8th grade who attend military-connected schools to engage in hands-on, experiential learning in the fields of science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM). This five-day summer camp is designed to provide students with a fun and challenging environment in which to explore STEM subjects and develop their skills in critical thinking, problem-solving, and creativity. STEMKAMP offers a unique opportunity for students to connect with peers and to explore their interests in STEM. The program is being offered in Yelm Community Schools from 2021-2023, providing local students with the opportunity to participate in this exciting and valuable program. STEMKAMP is an excellent way for students to build skills, develop their interests, and prepare for success in the 21st century workforce.

Information

  • When: August 7-11, 2023
    Where: Yelm Middle School

    Transport to and from the event will be provided on August 7-10.
    August 11 is Family Day where students will attend with an adult family member.
