College Access

  • Introduction

At Yelm Community Schools, we believe that every student has the potential to achieve their goals and dreams after high school. To support our students in this endeavor, we offer multiple avenues of support to help them realize their postsecondary aspirations. This includes academic and career counseling, college and career readiness programs, and partnerships with local colleges and universities. Our academic and career counseling services are designed to help students identify their strengths and interests, explore their options for postsecondary education and training, and develop a plan to achieve their goals. We also offer college and career readiness programs that provide students with the skills and knowledge they need to succeed in college and the workforce, including financial literacy and job readiness skills. Additionally, our partnerships with local colleges and universities provide students with access to a range of postsecondary pathways, including vocational training, associate's degrees, and bachelor's degrees. We are committed to supporting our students in achieving their postsecondary aspirations and providing them with the resources and support they need to succeed in the 21st century workforce.
