Southworth Elementary is a community committed to learning and achievement.
We believe that education is a partnership with responsibility shared by all: school, family, students, and community. All individuals shall be provided a safe, positive environment where they may reach their fullest potential as lifelong learners and responsible citizens.

ABOUT OUR SCHOOL
Southworth Elementary has over 540 students with 27 classroom teachers and was opened in 1972. We passed a bond and will be rebuilding our school soon, see the construction tab for updated progress reports on our progress of building our new school. Southworth Elementary School is a Kids at Hope network of school. Students will learn the Kids at Hope Pledge and as a staff we will focus on these factors to support your child (ren):- Children succeed when they are surrounded by adults who believe they can succeed.
- Children succeed when they have meaningful, sustainable relationships with caring adults.
- Children succeed when they can articulate their future.
As a building we have also adopted PBIS (Positive Behavioral Intervention Strategies). Our new school rules for this year are:
