NCAA Eligibility

  • Any student seeking to play interscholastic athletics at an NCAA Division I or II school needs to thoroughly research NCAA requirements for eligibility to compete, and to receive scholarship money.  Potential NCAA Division I or II student athletes must:

    1.   Complete the minimum number of credits and specific classes in Language Arts, Social Studies, Math and Science.

    2.   Register for and receive approval from the NCAA Clearinghouse.  Students are responsible for registering with the NCAA.

Because of the complexity of the NCAA Clearinghouse regulations, it is recommended that prospective student athletes work with their counselor to create a plan that meets NCAA requirements well in advance of the college admission process.
