If you have not yet ordered, no worries, place your order by March 1. 2024 to ensure receiving at the delivery March 27, 2024 between 10:30 and 1:30 PM. Jostens will have their delivery trailer parked outside the Front Office by the big tree.

All students need to be dropped off and picked up through Tornado Alley in the mornings and afternoons. Directions: From Yelm Avenue turn on Tahoma Blvd. SE and go past Yelm Medical Plaza. Turn into Tornado Alley and drop off/pick up students by the portables and exit out of Tornado Alley. Do not use the main entrance for the safety of our student walkers and bicyclists, and to avoid interfering with our school buses. See map for more details.
Students who are driving to campus must register their vehicle and pick up a parking permit to be displayed on their car rearview mirror. Students can register their vehicles with staff in room 103 and will receive a parking permit. Parking permits must be displayed at all times. Student parking is ONLY in the main parking lot. Beginning in the fall of 2021, freshman at Yelm High School will have the opportunity to earn their Associate of Arts Degree entirely on the YHS campus. Students may now enjoy all the benefits of high school life, while completing a fully accredited college degree. Upon graduation, students who have earned their Associate of Arts Degree will transfer to 4-year colleges and universities in Washington with junior level status.
Yelm Community Schools is asking the community to continue funding of the expiring levy on the April Special Election. This replacement levy is not a new tax and will continue to fund important programs and services so all students, starting in Pre-K, are on a path to on-time graduation, continuing education and work. We are now monitoring weather conditions daily and drive the roads early in the morning to check for safe travel. Our goal is to send messaging by 5:30am if school is delayed or closed; otherwise, school is on time. Please remember that roads and sidewalks may still be slippery even if we don't close.
