  • January is School Board Appreciation Month!!

    Yelm is fortunate to have five outstanding School Board members who volunteer their time to champion student learning. Let’s all take time to express our appreciation for the vital work of our School Board members.   • SAFETY SERIES

    In partnership with local agencies and community resources, the district will host four community nights focused on safety topics. Community agencies and organizations will be available to share resources and a panel of experts will present to attendees. Vendor event opens at 5:30pm and panel begins at 6:00pm. Must be present to win door prizes provided by local businesses.

  • Winter Weather, Safety First! Sign up for FlashAlerts

    Winter weather is upon us. Have you subscribed to FlashAlerts? FlashAlerts will send you a text or email if school is delayed or closed. Please do not call the schools or district unless it is an emergency. Transportation: When there are icy or snowy conditions, buses may have to run on limited "snow routes."   • Coffee with the Principal and Popcorn with the Principal

    Join us for coffee and donuts with Mr. Curry from 7:00 to 8:00 a.m. in Room 604 (Blue Hall). We welcome your questions and open discussion. Your input is very valuable! Remaining "Coffee" dates are February 8, March 15, April 19, May 17. A very special Thank You to Yelm Starbucks for providing our wonderful coffee and supporting these events! These meetings typically last an hour so if you cannot make it at 7:00 a.m. join us as your schedule permits. If you are unable to make our coffee dates then we would like to invite you the following Monday after our coffee dates at 6:00pm for Popcorn with the Principal also in Room 604 (Blue Hall).   • Meal Applications for Households affected by the Government Shutdown

    Households of furloughed employees may be eligible for free or reduced-price meal benefits. Free/reduced meal applications can be obtained from the District Website, your local school, or you may complete an application through Family Access.
