MILL POND STUDENTS SHOW THEIR SCHOOL PRIDE! The Mill Pond parents, students, and community rise to the occasion and raised over $4,500 for the 2017- 2018 Mill Pond Pentathlon. Thank you to all who participated in the Pentathlon and helped Mill Pond. The grand prizes were awarded to Serenity Sivich and Sara Gong; who both raised over $200.00. Ms. Sivich and Ms. Gong will be our guest PE teachers for the day. Thank you for all your hard work and dedication to Mill Pond. A special thank you to Ms. Lipe, Ms. Edwards, Mill Pond Booster Club, and Mill Pond Staff for making the Pentathlon a great success and a fun time for all.
IT STARTS WITH ATTENDANCE IN ELEMENTARY SCHOOL. Any student who has zero or one absences, in the month of September and October, will be entered into a drawing to win a bike. (Medically excused, with a doctor’s note do not apply) Regular attendance at school is essential to the learning process. At Mill Pond Elementary we appreciate the support given by our families in ensuring that their students attend school on a regular basis. State law and district policy contain provisions regarding mandatory attend- ance of students and excused absences. An explanation of these provisions (BECCA Bill State Law Regulations for Unexcused Absences) was sent home with each Mill Pond student at the beginning of the school year. Further information is available in the Yelm School Board Policy Manual available for public review at the District Office or any school office.
It is important to have correct contact information for all our families. We encourage you to update your email and phone numbers in Skyward. Please log in to your Family Access to ensure your information is accurate. Please ask your school office staff if you need assistance.
