We are here to help provide meaningful career exploration and help you walk through and reach your next steps. Northwest Youth Leadership Conference for Juniors
The Northwest Youth Leadership Conference was founded in 1991 by the Puget Sound Chapter of the Military Order of the Word Wars, an organization whose major purpose is to promote good citizenship and to further patriotic education in our nation.
This conference is open to current juniors. This conference is designed to provide a unique opportunity to participate in seminars with articulate spokespersons from industry, business, government, military and the academic community. Students stay at the PLU campus for the duration of the conference.

The Pacific Northwest Association for College Admission Counseling will be hosting in-person college fairs this spring! The closest to our area will be on Saturday, April 23rd from 9:00 - 11:00 am at Seattle University.

Financial Aid Information and Filing Events
Do you know the steps you need to take to apply for college?
Do you need money for college?
The 12th Year Campaign can help you with two important steps you need to take to go to college: applying for college and applying for financial aid. The first step is to file a FAFSA or WASFA financial aid application.
Join one of the events listed in Washington State's 12th Year Campaign flyer to learn more and register. Please note, most events are offered virtually.

Military Recruiter Lunch Visits
You will notice that recruiters set up tables during your lunch time. Feel free to talk to them! They will be here to answer questions. As of now, The Army will be here on Mondays, The Navy on some Tuesday, The Air Force every third Wednesday of the month and the Marines on Thursdays.
If you want to connect with a recruiter but don't want to talk during lunch time, let me know so I can arrange an introduction or check the military section of the website for contact information.
