COVID-19 Information

  • The health and safety of our students, staff and community are a top priority.

As we return to school for in-person learning, we want to let you know our process for communicating about cases of COVID-19 that may occur within our district. This plan was developed collaboratively with Thurston County Public Health and Social Services (PHSS) to create consistency and prioritize student and staff safety,

What is critical to know is that at no time will PHSS or Yelm Community Schools share the names of individuals who have been diagnosed with COVID-19. We also want to stress that these procedures were designed by PHSS to stop the spread of the disease.
