We believe that education is a partnership with responsibility shared by all: school, family, students, and community. All individuals shall be provided a safe, positive environment where they may reach their fullest potential as lifelong learners and responsible citizens.
Congratulations to Chloe Kellogg and Ray Wright. They both entered drawings into the Arbor Day Art Contest. Chloe was awarded first place at the 4th grade level and Ray received an Honorable Mention at the 2nd grade level. Way to go!!!! Congratulations also to the Ft. Stevens Choir. WOW! Click the title to look at all of the amazing growth in student achievement Fort Stevens has made in just one year. You should all be proud of your children and the efforts you have made at home. And we (home and school) should be equally proud of being on the same team, with the same goal...Success For All Students!!!
This year at Fort Stevens, we want everyone to be bucket fillers, doing and saying nice things that make others feel special. We do not want to be bucket dippers, doing or saying things that make others feel bad. Encourage your children to be a bucket filler at school and at home!
