  • IMPORTANT MEETING FOR 8TH GRADERS AND THEIR PARENTS!!  Please join us Monday, May 20th at 6 p.m. for Student/Parent Transition Night for all 8th grade students from YHS and RMS.  Administrators and counselors from Yelm High School will address high school graduation requirements, athletics, and academic expectations.

  • If your student takes medication while at school, all medication must be picked up by noon on June 14th, 2013.  Any medication not picked up by the deadline will be destroyed.

Message From YMS Principal, Heidi Bunker
 
Thank you for visiting our site.  It is with great pride that I write this letter as the principal of Yelm Middle School.  I am excited to start the school year off knowing the hard work and positive energy that the staff at YMS puts in each day.  I believe school should be a positive and safe place to learn.  Our hope is students feel comfortable coming to school knowing that the staff cares about them.
 
I look forward to working with staff and families to improve student learning.  Communication is very important to me.  Please feel free to contact me anytime if you have questions or concerns.
