  • Ft. Stevens Named a Washington School of Distinction

    It is an honor to announce that Fort Stevens Elementary has been named a Washington School of Distinction for 2014! The School of Distinction awards recognize the top 5% of highest improving schools in Washington for their exemplary growth in reading and math over a five-year period. This is the second year in a row Fort Stevens has earned this award. Congratulations to Principal Scot Embrey and the entire Fort Stevens staff for their unparalleled commitment to student learning!

    YHS Earns Six-Year Accreditation

    Congratulations to Yelm High School for yet again earning accredited status. During its September 25 business meeting, the school board heard from YHS Principal Brian Wharton and Educational Service District 113 (ESD) Assistant Superintendent Dr. Andrew Eyers about the year-long, rigorous process to earn the six-year accreditation.
