Yelm Community Schools Business Partnership Program Sponsored by: Yelm Chamber of Commerce Education Committee Yelm Community Schools is fortunate to have an award winning business partnership program. Many districts from around the state have inquired about Yelm’s success in this endeavor. It’s really quite simple, the Yelm business community cares about kids! Through our partnership with the Yelm Area Chamber of Commerce we are fortunate to have 31 business partners that provide support to our schools. The partnerships are two-way school/business arrangements - the business partners pay an annual fee and in return they receive recognition on school publications and during recognition ceremonies. Many businesses have returned year after year because of the positive experience they have had with the program. Program Options The Business Partner program has two levels: a choice of a full partnership ($500) or an associate partnership ($250). The partnership fee is a yearly commitment. Schools use the money to assist with programs and projects not funded by the general budget. Businesses are recognized on school publications, during school assemblies and at a recognition ceremony during the June school board meeting. 2012-2013 Business Partners
