ABOUT OUR BUILDING
The first McKenna school building was erected around 1890. Several buildings and remodels have existed over the years. Thanks to the passage of the February 2003 construction bond, a brand new McKenna Elementary opened in the fall of 2005. We are proud of our long history in the community and look forward to continuing the tradition of excellence into our second century.

SCHOOL IMPROVEMENT PLAN
The McKenna Elementary staff worked diligently to develop a comprehensive School Improvement Plan based on a variety of data. School improvement goals focus on reading, math, technology, and teacher collaboration and include detailed action plans for each. Action plans are updated on an annual basis.
