  • Mill Pond ASB Triathlon

Mill Pond Triathlon This year Mill Pond will host the 5th Annual Mill Pond Triathlon on Friday, October 7, 2016. This will be our main ASB fundraiser for the year. The donations will be used to help fund field trips, student awards, Paw Pride Store, and playground equipment. The Triathlon, a continuous sequence of athletic events, is perfect for exposing children to various physically demanding and challenging (but still fun) activities. In addition, it can help students develop positive lifelong activity choices. Our Triathlon will have various activities including but not limited to, walking/jogging, jump roping, line dancing, and relays. The activities will last a total of 90 minutes. This can lead to an accelerated heart rate and breathing rate. Please let us know if there is any reason your child should not participate. There will be water for participants to drink and a first aid station for minor bumps and bruises.

  • End of Day

If there is a change from the normal routine, either bus, walking, or parent pick up, a note or phone call before 3:00 pm is required. Verbal directions to your child cannot be accepted as a change. Please do not leave transportation changes on the office voicemail—changes must be done in writing or through direct conversation with office staff. Permanent changes need to be communicated to the transportation office, 360.458.3300, as well as the Mill Pond office. Unless other arrangements have been made by a parent or guardian, students are expected to be transported from Mill Pond by bus at the end of each school day. Please remember that we cannot take messages to go home with a friend over the phone. Without a note, students will ride their regular bus home. If it is necessary to make a bus change, please contact our office before 3:00 PM to ensure your student boards the appropriate bus.
