  • No More Late Starts on Wednesday
    There will be no more late starts for the rest of the year. All schools will begin at their regular time.

  • Kindergarten Registration
    Registration for kindergarten opens April 1 and will continue through the end of June.  Register at your local school (link to boundary maps). Classes fill up quickly so register early.  Age requirement: Must be five years old on or before August 31. Documentation required: Birth Certificate, Proof of Residency, Immunization History.  For registration hours and more information, contact your local elementary school (link to contact numbers).

    YHS student Lyra Bertels won the prestigious Washington State High School Journalist of the Year. As yearbook and newspaper design editor, her entry included an impressive portfolio of design, writing and photography from three years on the yearbook staff and a year on the newspaper staff.
